The purpose of the Veterans Helping Veterans web site is to increase outreach to civilian veterans in the community by providing information and a social network. This web site is funded through a pilot study by the Colorado Division of Military and Veterans Affairs. The Denver Veteran Services Office is responsible for the content of the site

The Veteran Services Office is a Denver County program. Veteran Services Office employees are trained and authorized by the Veterans Administration to assist veterans and their dependents in filing for benefits to which they may be entitled. Also included within Veteran Services Office is a Department of Labor funded employment program.

All Denver Veteran Services Office staff are veterans. We believe in "Veterans Helping Veterans" and will do everything we can to assist veterans and their families.
